The K! Awards 2009 shortlist revealed! Slipknot and Metallica head up the nominations for the Kerrang! Awards 2009. Fresh from their triumphant Download festival headline appearance, the Iowan nontet have notched up six nominations (including two nominations for Best Single) while metal legends Metallica are nominated in five categories.
